City of Ember - Chapter 3

 Here is my summary of the City of Ember chapter 3. Doon went to his brand new job at the pipeworks. He went to work in tunnel 97. The generator was loud and he covered his ears. Doon heard a loud noise. He thought his tummy was rumbling but it was the river. He saw the generator and saw other people as he walked in the generator room. He tapped someone's armpit and asked “Can you tell me about the generator?” but the old man didn't answer and he ignored Doon.
